Simple Labs' Induino R3 / R4 and Arduino Uno Comparison

The Induino R3

The Induino R3 is the latest board in the InduinoX Series of Low Cost Arduino Clone Boards made in India by Simple Labs. It is based on the Arduino Rev3 Series of Boards. Its a Duemilanove Clone with R3 Compatibility and an Arduino Uno Bootloader.

About 3 years back, we designed our first Arduino Clone the Induino. We named it Induino to add to our pride of having made it in India. The Induino was an affordable arduino clone that was priced at 800/- [The cheapest to be sold on some scale at that time!] however the Induino evolved over a period of time to include many on-board peripherals increasing the experimentation capabilities and became the InduinoX. The InduinoX has now evolved to the InduinoR3. There has not been much change in terms of on-board components for the InduinoX did a good job of being a good board for the beginner. So the InduinoR3 is some improvements to the InduinoX with a few add-on features for increased experimentation.

  1. Is RTC IC not present on the R4 version of Induino?

  2. U can display the Pictures of all the three with the position of parameters as discussed above. We would like to know the tutorial support we receive for Induino on ur site.I have already a original Arduino Uno R3. If support comes from ur end I may go for Induino.
